    noob questions..

i tried looking for a similar thread but couldn't find any. maybe someone can point me in the right direction..
i wanna change my lights to HID lights b/c they look better and brighter than regular lights. looks like i need a conversion kit, something like this??

has anyone done this for their 2001-2004 tacoma?

if so, is it difficult to install? (1-10 scale, 1=monkey, 10=rocket science)

what are some pros & cons of HID lights?

can i still run HID with the daytime running lights?

what different brands would you recommend, and why?

i don't know anything about lights, what's a ballast? what is lumens? so... :notsure:
    thanks..

well i have only installed hids on my civic before but it is pretty simple all i had to do was connect the h4 plugs and then connect the wires accordingly and mount the ballast
which shud look like this [IMG]
but the only thing about hids is that there WILL be alot of glare so aim ur headlights down so u dont blind people....and i dont know about cops in ur area if they will pull u over or not but in hawaii they dont really care cause about 50% of them have hids on there personal cars
