I've just had my first pickup for a few days now and I'm very happy with it. I should have noticed at the dealer that this 05 reg cab red truck had a small prob. with the right rear light. The red part is lit but does not get brighter when the brakes are pressed. Left light and cab light are OK. Reverse lights ok too.

    1. Just replace the center bulb (I assume there are three bulbs in there?) Also wheres best place to buy?
    2. Access through the little panel on the side of the bed?
    3. I would need a special star shaped bit to get in there. Where could I get one?

If I get access I'm sure the rest will be no problem.

    Thanks for your help.

    Steve.

The tail lights come out with just a 10 mm socket wrench. Just twist the bulb holder and swap bulbs. You can pick these bulbs up from anywhere. You just need a new bulb, it seems like the brighter filament burnt out.
