buzzing from HID ballast?

I just wired up one headlight to check it out........turned on the lights and there is a high pitch buzzing coming from the ballast.

Is this normal?......just warming up or something?

 

yup, totaly normal. unless its high pitched, that means its comunicating with the hadron particle collider and will turn into a black hole

mine never buzzed and now its a very very loud buzz as of last night. i didnt even drive my truck . im gonna check it out tonight any ideas?

pretty sure my ballast blew , becuase the light wont warm up or turn on . DDM warrentys there's right?

 

I dont have a set o f HIDS for my taco yet but.......i do have a set on my cbr1000rr 2007 that has a set of jdm hids i got from japan......for 180........and in the manual it says the sound is "kaba" whatever that means
