Yeah maybe thats why.
But if you are sitting all stink bug, it gets super squirly at high speeds I noticed. My truck handles way better when the rear end sits more

 

I have more down than up, but I wanted it to sit low for body roll purposes. I wish I had a little more up sometimes. But being a SUV it loves to roll, so I am willing to give up the up travel for ride height.

And for 95 taco--I think the undersprung is to help with axle wrap.

yes, as soon as carbon is damaged, you ditch the tank. you don't want 3000 psi ripping open a tank.

I did a lot work with hydrogen tanks at a company I used to work for, and to protect the carbon wraps on tanks, they always had an outer stainless steel shell or other material to protect the carbon from impact.

 

That's a pretty good idea.

 

Also with the same shackle setup over/under sprung is about 5in difference in ride height. So big ass springs=tall truck

 

The rear ride height should not make it squirly. Most trucks will turn way better with the front lower than the back. Keeps the weight on the front wheels. Not enough caster will make it get squirly at speeds.

yeah and tt's are also linked and have 32+" of travel. completely different animal....

 

better droop and bump pics
prob won't droop that far with the complete leaf packs though its only 2 inches lower than the free arc of the springs
1/4 inch clearance all around the tire/inner wheel well lip at bump after moving the axle back a lil and hammering the pinch weld lip up.
Less than 1/2 an inch till the u bolt hits the frame, way better than i first thought, blah blah

How do you figure? Uptravel is uptravel, down travel is down travel. Weight transfer is weight transfer, I dont care if the rear suspension is bungy cords, its still going to have the same affects on turning and handling.
