Long Travel BS Thread

Ok, so if you have a 16" shock, that means the shock has 16" of total travel.
So the shaft length sticking out goes from 0-16".

Solo kit being built

So im going to try and buy a kit this week, so i can hurry up and get it and have my truck drivable again! i just saw this LT kit, what do u guys think?

 

its not a bad kit. i saw it when he built my rear. just make sure if you do buy it, that its all cleaned up. last time i saw it, it was pretty rusty.

 

ya im in a bit of a situation, and dont know what kit im going to end up buying. All i know is that i need to hurry up and order one! haha but if i got this kit, i would paint it all up good so its not rusty

 

Really nice kit in my opinion. 3" lift spindle, added track width from the spindle too. Lower uniball, it may not have alot of travel but its beef, and properly valved should do perfect.

Absolutely a solid kit. Eric builds some really nice stuff so I'm sure this is no different.

 

Just a reminder next week or the week after my truck will be for sale if anyone knows someone looking for one. I am putting in a new clutch, rack and wheel bearings this weekend.

Either a 4th Gen 4Runner or a Lexus GX (which is a 4runner frame) Though there is a nice FJ on CL right now If the truck was sold I would look into that also but normally FJs and 2gens are more then I am will to pay because I'm buying cash

Yup, they are always v8 and 4x4 also. And normally the people that own them ONLY take them to the the dealer for maint so they are mint most of the time.
