so the sheet emtal under my passenger headlight has a pretty damn big crack in it and its causing the fiberglass to sag by the headlight/hood area. ive been trying to think of something to fix it but havent really came to any conclusions. anyone else dealing with that?

    Lots of expensive shit
Giant has about 3 different versions of the link killer shocks. One of which is a single tube. Its a 3.0 tube on a 2.5 shock

really? I didn't know that, I would think a rebound tube would be crucial for leaf springs to make them "link killers"

Exactly, that's why they're a joke lol. The kit defiantly isn't any where near "link killing"

You can't form any opinions though off of Stuart's truck. The installation was terrible and the valving was way off. No truck with a stock bed, single spare and stock tank can use a double stack of .020s on compression. It's not fair to bash giant over someone elses horrible attempt at installing their kit

    Depends on the installer.
The link killer is a marketing term, but the pure race series comp tube and larger bump zone does provide advantages without breaking the bank.

You don't have to put videos in those little brackets. just post the link and refresh the page and it should embed itself.

It's all good! Took me a while to figure that shit out! haha

That looks pretty sweet when he is hitting those little whoops after the 2 minute mark! Handled it pretty well. Any idea how fast he was going?

That is definitely true. But I have ridden in other trucks that have swayed me from it as well. I was originally going to pick up that kit, I'm glad I didn't. I digress.

But in other news, whenever I go to tighten my shackle bolts (through the frame) it makes an exxtrreemeeellyy loud squeaking nose every time I tighten down on them. Time for new bushings?

IIRC you're on your 3rd set of shackles, second leaf pack, revalved, and bitched up and down about your ride height with your rear setup. I'd be swayed from your kit before another Giant kit :cookiemonster:

Bushings squeak. Why are you tightening them?

I like my giant kit..only complaint I've had is one of those U looking spring brackets rubs on the shackle mount when they compress

    Slightly fabricated.
    Leafs were free.
    No revalve.
Havent bitched since I got the new pack.

And just usual prep every few weeks, Its an extremely loud squeak haha. Gonna get some WD40 in there and see if it helps.
