Hello, New to the forms. I always come across this thread when I am googling certain questions that I am curious about. I am thinking doing long travel on my first gen.. I have the front all planned out (total chaos front kit with kings on order) .. But with the $ that I dropped on the front It has left me a little short on funds for the rear. My question to you all is, My fabricator said that we can retain the front spring hanger and just fab up the rear hanger in a certain position and it will save me $ and not make a difference in the suspension travel.. The front seem's sturdy enough to be able to take some abuse. But I am unaware if that is something I should do..

Any suggestions or any web page that could push me in the right direction would be wonderful, I am a quick learner.

    Thanks!

    -Mike

If you're getting a custom pack you may as well go with a totally custom setup. I'm not sure what you plan on spending on the rear, but don't half-ass it now if you plan to go all out later.
Also if you're moving the rear hanger you may as well move the front.
    Just my 2 cents

What have others done to extend the fuel filler neck to retain use of the stock location? I'm sure it has been asked on here before, but can't seem to bring anything up.

Should be able to clamp on a longer section of hose for the main line? But what about the other two and what are there purpose? I'm assuming a vent, and then the tiny one must be some kind of sensor?

IIRC people are using 4 runner filler necks and they are mounting up with glass. Someone will chime in who has done it

if you followed the issues, a few companies included DMZ have noted that it's not the motor mounts that are weak or breaking, it's the frame where the motor mounts are mounted that are caving in. Get a homie to plate the frame and you'll be fine. Otherwise, hit up DMZ
