Is there a thread to better understand different LT setups for angles and dimensions? I work for Mercedes-Benz but I'm new to custom suspension work and fabrication

Unless you have a jig you'll warp the axle with a truss like that. All the truss is on the back side of the axle so it will pull the axle tubes when you add heat.
Some people pre-bend the axle tubes forward before welding...but then you're just guessing how much it's gonna warp.

I know that, just making sure he does. Wouldn't want him to go out and buy the kit just to find out he has to buy a whole new rear axle

Have you seen an axle jig? At a minimum you'll need a spare carrier and a shit ton of thick material and some ingenuity.

There are easier ways to truss an axle without the need of a jig though.
