Have you quoted prices yet for install? I seem to get estimates of about $700 for gears, install kit, and labor.

 

i called a few places and labor seems to range anywhere from 400-500 for installs.

 

Have you tried calling Trail Gear or someone who deals with older Toyota Pickup Solid axle setups, they might have an alternative?

 

Delrin is too hard, it will either crack or bend shock mounts.

 

Could always sell them. Bet they would go quick to. People always ask me questions about mine.

 

Considered going to a 14mm set up from a Chevy?

 

Im doing around $500

 

Rubber is too soft/not durable enough so, Poly?

 

I replaced mine with poly bushings. Seems to be holding up well so far. Probably should have cut two of them down so there is a lip on both sides, but I'm a hillbilly.

 

Anybody hear how pismo went?

 

It was fucking epic. So many cool trucks. I managed to shear the studs on my spacer in the back and send one if my tires flying through the dunes. Jordan's front kit handled business and was boss.

IT WAS SO FUCKING SICK

 

I forgot when we did your shocks, But you may have the metal check valves in the shocks. If so, you can get the special plastic ones from King to bring the noise down. And that with getting the King Poly Bushings that go over hiems should help. I know I have the King metal check valves and my truck clicks too. lol

 

U and anthony where gona when i showed back up after taking my buddies thru boyscout we launched my truck off a 10ft razor back on the way and the front kit took it like a CHAMP! broke my headlights and glass tho and smashed the fuck outa the fenderwell lol

 

Damn dude that's crazy! Almost as gnarly as when you almost front flipped haha
