Well I don't think he uses his front locker hardly ever and he may not even use 4wd all that often. I know he doesn't care for rock crawling, just going fast.

"All these problems". I just broke a side gear when running hard with the locker engaged, and an axle stripped out when it went. As far as the front goes, I've popped one inner tripod joint (the "female" part of the joint). I have almost 50K miles on 37's, with at least 30,000 of those miles in the dirt with minimal parts breakage. Logically, it would be cheaper to pack a spare set of axle shafts and a spare third and keep doing what I'm doing, but I'd like to improve reliability, while staying within the budget.

We should go wheelin' sometime man. I think you would be surprised what I do. I do not like driving slower than I can walk, that much is true.

I have an ARB up front. I only use it when I need it, and that is usually in the snow or on a loose hillclimb.

Someday I hope! I also hope I have LT up front or at least get my ORI's dialed in enough by then to not lose you in the first mile. haha

Went wheeling this weekend, hit some good trails.

My passenger side taillight fell off the truck in the middle of wheeling, came back on the same trail and found it, looks like the tabs on taillight broke as well as fiberglass mounts for it

Thanks for the replies about the 37s. My biggest concern is the steering rack. Not worried about hubs because I'm going the dana 44 route.

Here is an example, basically takes the load off the rack

So that was added to a steering rack right? If I understand that right it looks like it will help prevent bending the steering rack, but what about the teeth? That is what I am concerned about with going to a larger steering size. My rack is about fucked from rock crawling with my 33's. Front lockers are hell on steering...

I was already thinking about doing that too. And if that doesn't work then maybe design a swing set setup with a steering box.

I have room for 37's but won't be going that route til I'm supercharged/ full floater rear...there is just not enough power for me in a stock 4.0

That's pretty much my plan too. If the slider doesn't help I'll build swingers and use a saginaw box. But somehow I'm still on my stock rack with 37"s and a heavy truck. It's leaking now though.
