I still find it funny that 2nd gen 5 luggers have no cab mount to chop & are waaaay more user friendly for tire placement

    or tire fitting

Yeppers, Ryanjboutin's truck...twice we did his truck , the first lift he was 5" under (bagged) I mean if you got on your hands & knees & looked under his truck almost couldn't see day light , anyway we went from 5" under to 4" over for a total of 9" of lift overall, weirdest fucking build I've been apart of..twice.. Gerty UP Gerty down....

We had it hooked up that way at first, but redid it inline just after radiator. Like how dealer runs the trd cooler.

Pretty much non existant, just look in the wells & ya say "nice no chops" EDIT: nothing in the wells to hinder tire, not even pinch welds to smack

I think Ryan even had some weird sized MT style tires on , I want to say 19"'s ?? just weird all the way around

Heres the only spot I need to massage some more. It doesn't rub when crawling but after a few times getting the front end off the ground a bit when hammering down the beach

Nice. Just starting the install? I was gonna cut off some tabs that are for lower links off a tundra axel I picked up. That was I can go with my sua plan.

    Usually it's Strap < CO < Arms/Axle

So your CO should limit droop but limit less than the strap. The strap should keep your axles in optimum locations.

Your suspension can physically droop and bump higher but that could increase wear and tear. IE just cause your arms, tie rods and axles can droop 16" at a stand still doesn't mean it should be ran that way.

Im going to be doing both of those. Within time. I have the f911 bolts to solid mount the lowers. So eventually.c660d7ce1919238ee53a23721a34d605_03e62140b94527366b8ff336a79d8299102eda9e.jpg

Are you running true 8" shocks? Are they the same brand between CO and bypass?

What is it that you think you are gaining or losing with that 1" difference?

Allowing droop that far with stock CVs may be a bad choice. Just because your arms allow it doesn't mean your axles will tolerate it.

Also check your top plate and rod ends, if either are different from your friends kit that might explain things.
