Dezert People 8 DVD premiere tour & trailer:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HSYazycOhAE

Since the first release of Dezert People The Movie in 2001, the Dezert People Video Series has evolved into the longest running, action packed off-road series in the industry. And this year, they are back with the new release of Dezert People 8, featuring the most intense off-road racing action to date.

Award winning producer Curtis Guise takes you to Baja, California, and Nevada featuring highlights of a full year of events that were shot in amazing HD video.

Dezert People 8 features some of the hottest drivers in off-road racing, including Roger Norman, Larry Roeseler, Marc Ewing, Andy McMillin, Steve Oliges, Wayne Lugo, Austin "Fish" Farner, Pat Dailey, Dan Vance, Mike Koenig, Matt Vaughn, and many more...

Along with action packed footage comes an action packed premiere tour schedule. What was once a small premiere at only one location has evolved into a series of premieres all across the county, including tour dates in both southern and northern California, Nevada, Arizona, Baja, and a new location that was added this year in Texas.

“One of the best things about releasing a new DVD is being able to travel and setup premiere events, meet the fans, and put on a fun show for all of our supporters. And best of all, we all have a great time and a portion of the proceeds go to some great charities that impact our industry,” stated Guise.

Well... That's not an advertisement^^^ lol. Okay, question for all of you that are lt. Is daily driving quite a bit smoother? Or do you only notice it offroad? For that matter, is offroad really that much smoother when LT?

Hey some people might want to go to the premiere. I know I am.

Daily driving is sorta smoother then some of lifts but stock trucks have the best on road ride I think. But its night and day in the dirt. I can be doing 40+ over stuff and you really don't bounce around much and it just feels like driving down a smooth dirt road at 20 in a stock truck. and if you have it set up awesome and tuned right it could be even better. the one thing with LT as a DD is its loud and noisy. its moans and groans and squeaks alot. Matt said it best " Its louder then a group of horny pigs" haha but thats if you are just like pulling out of a parking spot or going slow over speed bumps. I spray everything with teflon and the makes it stop until I take it in the dirt again.

good idea alex for this thread

having a LT truck as a DD is cool and sux at the same time... like alex said, LT trucks are fucking loud and it's super annoying cause my truck (like everybody else w/ a LT DD) see more time on the road than in the dirt so it gets kinda old.

i tell my truck to shut up all the time, it never listens... haha

Cool. I've been trying to find a good place to post this question.

How difficult and what tools/parts are required to revalve a shock with an external resi?

You guys should look into fluid film to quiet your rides down.

haha..mines pretty quiet on the road too except for my accessories as well..particularly my HiLift jack i always keep in my bed.

i think my ride as a DD is way better and funner when compared to stock..plusher over bumps and dips and everything else..you can just take em at speed when everyone else slows the fuck down, then they all look at me with envy when they watch how smooth the truck took everything. plus making the truck do the "baja lean" when making turns is fun as well!!

Baja..i mean Taco lean anyone?! :D

How come no drive thrus? Are they narrow in LA or is it because you can't get close enough to the window? You could just prop that wheel up and crawl up the wall:D
