    Dude...that would be incredible!

Now that the BLM has nixed the SCORE Primm race I've been looking into alternatives. Texas racing is in the lead right now but I'll look into those Barstow races now too.

Wait, what? I didn't know the Primm race got axed, wtf? I think you should do the Vegas To Reno dude, it's a nice run. I've ran most of it at night in my truck, it's doable for you no problemo. The Mint 400 would be a good one too, there's tons of good races out here. Why don't you move out here? What do you do for work man?

BLM shut down racing at Primm for 4 months out of the year to protect the turtles, who just happened to mate during the exact months when races were scheduled.

I'm a programmer by day and can do it from anywhere. California would be a consideration, but not at the moment. Have to pay down some bills before making any decisions. Racing is damn expensive, and right now my tow vehicle is down with cracked heads.

I was hoping that this would be my financial catch-up year. Stupid f*cking Navistar...

V2R is awesome but the amount of logistics involved is immense. You need multiple pits and chase trucks to support a real effort. We considered it and then decided not to considering the pit crews, drivers, co-drivers all needed to gain more race experience before hitting that race.

well, at least you know the Barstow terrain, so keep an eye out on the M.O.R.E. series and think about it...

I've heard that many times while towing my buddies F-350 with my Duramax, lol. I hear the 2011's are coming out with heated tailgates so your hands don't get cold while pushing them. I didn't know fall was fucking tortoise season. Or tortoise fucking season. Sucks for sure. The BLM killed several hundred of them by my house (relocated them) and I don't see BLM employees being banned from the desert. They killed more tortoises in one day than the entire offroad community has in ten years. Gotta love it.
