I've been looking at the fiberwerx 1 piece hood clip for when I do go LT, and I'm curious as to the Pros and Cons of it versus just the fenders. Thoughts and opinions on it?

Iv heard a lot of people say they have a hard time getting the hood and the mini fenders to line up good.

you have to take the entire thing off if you want to do something to your engine ie refill the windshield wiper fluid, check oil levels, check a fuse, etc, which can turn into a PITA :notsure:

Yea it can see it being a pain but its only about 3 latch's and it pops off. Iv also seen where people hinge the front so it flips forward. I wouldn't say there heavy just more awkward.

I see your point. Speaking of it, what ever happened with you and the glassworks guinea pig thing?

clips are more expensive than a pair of fenders. if you went with fenders that extra money saved could be used better on other areas of the truck that need to be built up...

Break a fender with the clip and the whole thing is screwed. Or break a fender and not loose the whole part.
