? About front brake lines

I'm in need of some new brake lines..

Looking for braided stainless steel..

Where can I find a decent set that will accommodate the travel from the lt kit?

The ones that came with my engage kit get destroyed. So I want to try to get a pair that are 6" longer than what came with the kit..

They got destroyed because you had the basica kit before then added the race spindle. Mine are 24 inches long

 

Mine got destroyed cus the little tubing coming off of the caliper bent towards the rim..and rubbed a hole through the actual line..

So I want something tougher..like stainless steel..so hopefully a little tire contact won't destroy it..

I got mine here- I also went with drilled and slotted rotors and porterfield racing carbon kevlar pads. I can lock up 37's with them, pretty good brakes, and the stainless lines don't swell under pressure so you get better pedal feel.

 

I think i'll get a set of those brake lines..wheelers has never disappointed..

 

Yeah and NO TAXES! lol. The trick to making the lines last is zip-tie engineering so they don't rub on anything.

 

Engage gave you rubber brake lines??

hey B. I think I had that same problem. did they pinch at the hardline that goes to the caliper?

I lied. I see what your talking about now. my hardline got pinched at the part that screws into the actual caliper

 

The same thing happened to mine..so the hard line bent in towards the wheel..running a hole in the line from wear on the tire..

 

So you can run a soft stainless braided line to the caliper? I was informed by hassim at engage you can only run an oem hardline to the caliper due to the fitting inside not sealing right when you tighten it
