    Thinking about getting long travel on my 08 tacoma i was wondering what all the components r that make up a long travel suspension and r there any pros or cons, brands that r good to get??
    I really have no clue about long travel so any help would be appreciated. :)

    google is your friend... and it's free...use it.

    long travel refers to upper and lower control arms that are longer than stock, therefore offering more wheel travel and the ability to use a larger stroke shock than stock.... and that's only the front.

    camburg, total chaos and engage are the top 3 choices for bolt on, tacoma long travel suspensions...

    now it's your turn to do a few weeks of research and reading to educate yourself and try to learn the basics. there is soooooo much more to building a long travel truck than buying a long travel kit, shocks and fenders and bolting that crap onto the truck and hitting up the dirt...
