All of you LT guys, I want your opinion...

After much debate between LT and mid-travel, I've decided to just do mid-travel. My reason for posting in the LT forums, is because I figure most of you went this route before upgrading. I'm looking to do this in about 6 months, but want to get the planning over so I can stop obsessing!
I am planning on Icon extended travel remote reservoirs up front with camburg 1.25" uca's. For the rear, Icon 2.5" rear reservoir shocks with most likely All-Pro leafs. To top it off I want to get the LR Jounce bump stops on all four corners.
I would like to hear your opinions, both positive and negative. Any suggestions to improve on this would be appreciated.

I personally don't have this set up or long travel. But it sounds like your making good decisions with this mid travel set up. The new icon stuff is sweet. I'll be running those 2.5's and have only heard good things about them

Christian, are you talking about the cv axles? If so I hadn't thought about that. What would you recommend? And on a side note, good avatar.

I would probably still do it due to the extra inch of travel.

a different axle will still bind in the same spot. the inch of trravle isnt enough to make the axels bind. the only time you might break one is if your like rock crawling and your front tires get stuck between some rocks or something.

never heard of mid travel making axles break

You don't need to upgrade axles.

Sounds like a pretty solid mid travel set up.

Don't forget to gusset your spindle at the minimum, coil bucket/UCA, and alignment tab gussets are nice to have as well.

why ?????? the front axles are stong and cycle just fine with no issues. the tierod will bind before the axles will ,in droop. so unless your running 37" tires it is a pointless mod and a very expensive one at that.
