What are 3 major things you would change about your longtrave kits.

I want lower uniballs, but no kit offers that without modification. Other than that I wouldnt change anything, Camburg is top notch

hes making one.

upper and lower uniballs
thats really the only thing i can think of.

jd, is the only reason we cant get more up travel on our kits right now because the wheel well is in the way? or is it the kit that restricts that?

I am pretty sure up travel is limited by a combo of the tire into the core support and the shock bottoming out. Mine hit at almost the exact same time (285/75 16's). True 33's might hit the support first. I think if you made a new shock hoop and removed the core support you can get a little extra, but idk how much

Not one to buy things. Im going to start off with making some 1st gen kits and want to take care of the things that need to be addressed. I have some things in CAD and going to go full force into 2 test kits after the 18th of this month.

Double shear everything, vertical upper uniball, and 3.0" shock capabilities

would a vertical upper uniball be useful on a 4wd kit? since you cant get more down travel out of the kit cause of the axel?

A boxed upper arm would be different. I like anthonys 3.0 coilover and vertical upper uni ball idea

I'd honestly like to see vertical upper and lower uniballs so air bumps could strike the UCA. After reinforcing the hell out of the spindles, of course.

Coilover + bypass + steering linkage + limit strap + axle doesn't leave much room for a bump on that LCA.

true, i wonder how much harder it is to make the bump strike the upper. you would need to with a 1 piece clip to do this though

Ok so let me know what you think about what I have in mind. I will keep in mind the 3.0 option and the upper or lower bump stop.

Boxed lower and upper.
Lower uni ball / upper uniball
Upper heim joints - lower bushed
Both spindle uniballs moved forward 1"-1.5" to help with tire fitment

I have plans for a 4x4 spindle that can be bought with the kit or without the kit.
My main plan is to sell the base kit for $1500-$1800 just for arms axles and steering extensions.
