800 is way overkill, 600 should be pretty close
Is it not holding the truck up?

I have 600s on mine seem perfect until I add a tender spring. You can revalve the shocks to make up for the softer springs. If you feel the need to go stiffer though I would try 650s. 700s would most likely feel too stiff like Mike said.

800 is a bit much. I had 675 on midtravel and it was brutal. I was recently running 500 and it was nice but needed too much preload to achive my desired ride hieght. Currently running 600 coils and it seems perfect. If you feel soft, go up on compression valving. Changing spring rates aint going to help you as much as valving it as best as you can.

I have 600 and just revaled and that made a HUGE difference. Before is was a really soft flutter stack on compression now running a stiffer flutter stack and its alot better.

Was hoping a 4 banger would chime in. My front is way stiff was thinking id get new coils and revalve. I actually think that when the guy did mine he went 600 instead of 500 as was originally discussed.

500 here on a 4 banger. Previously it was ok. I recently installed the solo spindles and took a lot of preload off. Made a difference. Currently all of my shocks are getting rebuilt and valved so it should be better.

wait, you want to change your springs because you bottom out after a jump....

you need to revalve and get some bump stops, not new springs.
