do you guys have the front fender ? and can you make the rear fender that the OEM light fit ?

 

yes we do make our own front fenders for the GenII Tacomas, Chase 5 (the truck in the pictures above) has the Engage Front Fiberglass Fenders

Yes we offer the rear glass with OEM Fitment (set up to use OEM Gas Door and Tail lights) or we can fill in the gas door and rear tail light sections as well...

That looks clean! I'm rocking the uhmw as well but riveted to the lip of the fenders

 

What did you use? Is uhmw hard plastic or something? And did you weld some tabs in there to mount it to the inside area?



I used sheet rubber cut to size then push riveted it to the fenders and used old mounting points for the inside. I need to weeks in a couple tabs to pick up the post to the back. I like the plastic better but was having trouble finding the right plastic.

 

Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMW). Got a 1/16" thick and 4'x8' sheet from a local plastic/fiberglass shop. It's almost reminds me of ABS black plastic pipe.

It's mostly held in around the edge where you see all the rivets. Then there is two locations where I riveted a flat 90 to the stock sheet metal and then the other side to the uhmw.

 

And Heat gun to bend the plastic?

 

It can be shaped with a heat gun, but I didn't need to use one as it was flexible enough.

 

I'm actually making my own as we speak. I'm using Craftman tool box liner (the thin sheet that's rolled up, u can get it at sears, or versions at any auto store). I'm using the lip on the glass to secure the outside(possibly thinking about adding 3M Velcro to secure the outside in spots) and using the stock square holes the bolt the inner part inside. I too used cardboard first as a template, so far I have about 3 hours into it but I'm trying to make it as CLEAN as possible!!! I'll post pics either here or start my own how-to thread for others. ( I have Hannemann's fiberglass fenders)
