Total Chaos long travel kit...

this might be a stupid question for some, but,,

for the total chaos LT kit, it says it gives you true 13" of travel, rite?
but it tells you to buy 8" travel fox or king coilovers. if you supposedly get 13" of travel, why wouldnt you get the fox or king 12"???? makes more sense than 8". but then im sure theres some factor im not accounting for.

help please

the shock may only be moving 8 inches, but the end of the control arm moves a lot more because its further out then the shock

take a pencil and hold it horizontal by one end and then lift the other end while pivoting it about the point you are holding. the middle of the pencil is going to move a lot less then the end that you are pushing on
