A few months ago, I had an All-Pro Long Travel Kit installed on my 2014 Tacoma. Since the install, I have had a whirring/humming noise that occurs between about 25mph and 45mph. If I click into 4x4 it stops.

It's not a stong noise or vibration. It's pretty slight, but is both a noise and a vibration. It's not constant, but pulses...kind of like 1 second on and 1 second off. It stops below 25 and above 45ish. It stops if I go into 4 wheel drive.

Anyone else have this issue? Any fixes? Is it likely a major issue...where something is wearing?

Do you have a diff drop?

Check the clearance between your front diff and your skid.

No differential drop. Stock skid plate gets nowhere near anything that moves.

Somewhat common with lifted setups. Front diff bearing wear.

ECGS Bushing installed yesterday by DKA Automotive here in Las Vegas. Vibrations completely gone. So happy to have this issue fixed.

Very dissapointed in Toyota for letting this known problem persist and not honoring their warranty when it arises.
