Dammit I just found out my factory 16 wheels rub like hell on the inside of the rim on the Lower Control Arms every time I turn left. I guess stock TRD Offroad rims are too small for the beefy LCAs. Im picking up a set of TRD Sport 17s tomorrow with tires on for $300 in Santa Cruz, is that a fair deal?

PS my truck is grounded until I can throw 17s or higher on.

Why would it only be left? If one rim wont work shouldn't the other not work either?

Those are sick, but I am function over form so...how much backspacing do they have? It'd be sick if they were <4.5". Also, how much do they cost new? i'd be pretty content with the stock 17s as long as I can run 33" tires w/o rubbing. If not I'll just flip them.
sorry, I wasnt clear at all on that post, haha, when i turn left, the right rim rubs really bad on the LCA bolt, but when I turn right, the left rim only rubs slightly. I'll try to get pics later.

If you run an Engage cantelever and want your bed space, where are you putting the gas tank?

IIRC, the engage cantilever kit runs the shocks towards the rear, not the front, thus the gas tank does not get in the way

my rear end is 1" higher than my front because it has a >3" lift from back in my old days and my front is set at that height to maintain a suitable ride height angle for my CVs once they are installed. Once I go LT rear the rear end will sit back down.

    random thought/memory:

As a kid I had a hamster that had a stroke and could only make left turns. He lived for a few months after the stroke, still just made left turns all day long.
