long travel vs normal suspension lift

    100%stock, except for the exhaust leak and custom windshield crack mod
    Ok, im looking to upgrade my suspension, what are the benefits from, say a Total chaos long travel vs. a Fabtech 6in. My only thing is I wanna be able to run 35's, im not really worried about the cost.

    Lifted, N-Fab steps, Roof rack light bar, Grill guard, Volant Snorkel (not installed ye)
    bah you dont even need a 6" lift if you just want to run 35's

    yea thats what ive heard, im just wonderin if Long travel is actually the best way to go
