Long travel installed & TC not working??

Just helped a buddy install the camburg lt kit on his 2010 pre runner. The traction control light keeps coming on and off. Any ideas? We're bewildered... Thanks

Cleaned the sensors and it seemed to help. Then the problem re appeared. He said he's going to try some new sensors. Apparently they are not expensive.

 

Traction and stability control use yaw rate sensors as well as wheel speed sensors for info on slippage or stability. With lc the truck will move around more than designed causing it to activate or shut off and set codes. Still worth it in my opinion.

First time I've heard of it. When did this happen, 09's & up, Sport package?

 

Did you make sure none of the wires were tight? If everything looks fine, just call Camburg in the morning and talk to them. They are good people over there and will help get the problem fixed or PM MJP2 he runs that kit. But his truck is not a 2010 so idk if he has TC.

 

my tc light comes on when i make hard turns like freeway on ramps, too much lean without sway bar, turn it off. It will come on because of the lean no matter what you do.

 

2009 offroad model. I guess he had a lot of issues with the sensors. Busted a couple sets up them or so he thinks. Finally got the matter resolved by the third set. Evidently they are sensitive little bastards so becareful when removing and installing those wheel bearing sensors. I just installed my own set up camburg spindles and had no such problem after completeing the install.
