American Motorsports has just released a true mid travel kit for 2nd gen 5 lug Toyota Tacomas. The kit includes new upper control arms, heim steering, 3in fabricated lift spindles that utilizes the stock Toyota hubs, wheel bearings, rotors, and brake calipers. It will even allow you to bolt in your stock ABS sensor too. The kit will utilizes the stock lower control arm. The kit will utilize a bolt in coilover from fox, king or saw away or an 8in coilover with a shock hoop that will allow a coilover and a bypass shock, with shock tabs welded to the lower control arm. The kit will be made from 4130 .188 plate and 4130 1 3/4 .120 wall tubing. Depending on your shock of choice this kit will yield 8-12 in of wheel travel, while gaining 6in of lift and increasing your track width an 1.5 inches per side.

The price will be 1850 and it will be powder coated both spindle and upper arms. As an added bonus free installation of kit.

That was the original plan but we were borrowing a truck which was on a limited time span and we were unable to finish the install.

So you are Gona sell a mid travel kit to someone before testing it yourselves? Sure it may make sense on paper but actually testing it is way different. Doesn't seem safe

doubt they would do that after all the r and d they put into all their other products. i bet they are waiting for someone to want it, and test it out.
