Started the tear down and design for a 96-04 kit. No real pics but it should be pretty nice and maybe have some replacement parts for the tc/camburg kits. Its hush hush till next week

I did a quick cycle on the kit yesterday and it does pull 14" clean with only 1/4" of cv plunge, no bumpsteer, and off the shelf napa tundra cvs. With a diff spacer 15" is very possible but cv plunge will be around 5/8-3/4". Stock cv allows 1 1/2" of plunge.

More teaser pics. I just welded up the uppers yesterday and im hoping to have at least one lower welded today...and then the cat will be out of the bag

And a little more looky looky. This is all bolt on with a stock spindle and i can start taking orders on these guys. Making an extremely strong replacement spindle for these should be an easy upgrade with this setup. Double shear lower uniball!!

Hows the outer end on the lower going to connect to the stock spindle?

Hahaha its actually the best loading for the unis. I like using the vertical lower and upper unis most of the time because it keeps the dirt out of the liners and keeps the unis alive longer. Most of the force on the lower uniball is actually vertical force from the springs/shocks pushing down and when you bottom out. A lot of the backwards force hitting the tire gets transferred into vertical force. And a taller tire means more of that force gets put into vertical force which is why "bigger tire = smaller holes"

Antoher good thing with the vertical lower is now it has a steering stop that wont grind the shit out of the lower arms. All the bj lower arms ive seen are pretty gashed in if they pull more then 11" of travel.

    Thats the magic

I have several possibilities I'm considering at this point in time....all of which require significant rework.

Only one more day to go and i should have pics of the suspension together on the truck. Had to take half a day to build some parts for other customers ive been holding off, but i did get the other lower welded today. AND i just had a great idea for the engine crossover for these trucks. We'll see if it works out.

FINALLY some cycling pics!! (jeez about time) And looky looky NO bumpsteer! These arms have over an inch more ground clearance then the other kits on the market right now. The camburg kit in the shop hangs down almost 1.5" lower with the EXACT same tire!

No bumpsteer is due to the new heim steering setup with double shear tabs in the correct location. Cmon, how awesome is that?
