Any fellow Tacoma owners going to be in New Orleans for Mardi Gras?
The girlfriend and I are flying out there Saturday morning. I have never been before.

I'll be here - Probably not spending much time over there until the weekend tho.
My in-laws get in on Sunday. Might go hit a parade tonight with some friends tonight, and then again on Saturday - Lee Circle is where I usually watch from cause I know some of the NOPD folks who work there.

Ya'll already got a place to stay? Cause it gets crowded around here during the season.

Yep. Already have a place to stay. Just have to get there and have fun.
Can you recommend any good places to eat? I've been craving crawfish like you wouldn't believe.

I'll chime in. We're going Saturday.

I've been going to Mardi Gras in Mobile my whole life, and this stuff is defiantly different. Floats are a lot better over here, and the people are crazier.

Learned my lesson to not expect the street car to be available for transport back to the truck. Everybody was on it, without even standing room.

Yes I just read an article that was talking about the increase in crawfish prices this season. That they are at about $6.50-6.99 per pound.
Still wont stop me from eating all I can. haha.
