Hey.. Love the rig. I have the snugtop XTR also and plan on dropping a RTT on in this summer. Besides adding crossbars did you have to add any other structural support to the topper? I have seen several threads where people have designed all these systems for inside the topper which is something I am not interested in figuring out. Was just hoping the snugtop can support the weight.

      Thanks., Dirk

Yeah you should be good with any tent I bet. Mine weighs about 160+ pounds. Talk to Adam (box rocket is his username) and he can get you a discount. I'd say definitely go tepui if you can afford a Ruggedized model, it'll last you a lot longer. If not then i would still go tepui because their ladder is so much better/stronger and won't pinch your fingers.

Oh and I don't like the cvt rain fly because when you look out of either of the open ends, the rain fly comes out and blocks your view side to side. But that's a personal preference

Sounds good. Will drop box rocket a note, the Tepui ruggedized is on the top of my list. A neighbor has one sitting in his garage that is never used. Think i will take him for beers and make him an offer while he is slightly skewered.
