I jst viewed your post on the canoe/kayak rack. I am looking to build/buy one for my 16ft canoe. My first go at it was a learning experience. I learned that lateral strength is important in high wind areas. Your design looks like its got some strength but how is the side to side strength? (not sure if this is the best way to communicate on here. Havent figured out how t PM yet)
