hey roadking....reading up on frame replacement. I have bad separation and have and appoint next week. I might have one spot of perforation...if they say its big enough. I just wanted to confirm that you got yours replaced based off of separation only. thanks
You had posted earlier that frame separation should cause a failure and should be sellable for replacement. Do you remember where you got that information because I have some serious separation.
there was a diagram on this forum showing what areas of the frame needed to be inspected.mine failed because of this.I was trading it in for a new tacoma when their service manager wanted to deduct $1500.00 off of it because the frame will have to be replaced "IF" a campaign is started.I canceled my deal and had a new frame installed several months later.
