      check your radiator cooling fan clutch. I have had the same problem in my 1996 tacoma 2rzfe and it got worse about 40.000 miles ago. The ##a@%%^7 fan clutch had no rear ball bearings, just the seal and when it fell out of place the viscous dampened disc slipped off center. Funny thing. The balls may have fallen out of the bearing, but there was also no inner race. Factory problem??? Toyota Cover up?
