Im setting this thread up as a means to organized and discuss off-roading trips for anyone in the local Cincinnati/dayton/KY area. If you are looking to WHEEL your truck this is the thread to post in. i will be monitoring this thread for interest in WHEELing...

Im a member of the local off-road enthusiast group but i figured i would extend my invitation to wheel to ANYONE who's interested in joining us or setting up something exclusive to tacomaworld. I Don't care what you bring, just as long as you are looking to have fun.

    Please take note:

*We wheel several places locally, some are for stock vehicles & some are not.
*There is a high likelihood you will get some rash from trees/branches.
*You might get stuck and require tow/winched out
    *You might break parts.
    *You might get body damage
    *You might get flat tires
*Hell You might even void your warranty...

Now, with that being said let it be known that i daily drive my second gen taco and and still wheel it at least once a month. It is recommended that you at least carry your own recovery gear (tow strap+clevises+tow points) and have a back up plan if something goes catastrophically wrong. Generally speaking that does not happen but i want everyone who is interested in WHEELing to understand there are risk you take when off-road your vehicles.

*per the interest i receive on this thread i will determine the places we consider. if i get ONE reply than we can keep it real local... but if there are several enthusiast perhaps then we can make time to get down to windrock or black mountain or something. Feel free to post on this thread any questions or comments in regards to WHEELING or WHEELING related stuff (i dont give a F**k about floor mats or headlight mods)!

I have a formula. 1 day for every 2 hours drive time one way. That means I'll day trip up to two hours.

2-4 hours, I need at least the weekend.

    4-6 hours, I need a long weekend.

6 hours + calls for dedicated PTO time.

I feel ya with the good logic... windrock at coal creek is 4hrs from home. its just too long to drive down and wheel on one day. let alone come home. maybe if we get a big taco group we can make a long weekend trip with hotel/primitive. (doesnt' matter to me)
