Anyone know of any little spots to go wheeling at near south county. Im board and have a little time on my hands.

 

Interesting. I'm in Wildwood as well... Pics of your trucks? I pass several tacomas throughout the week on Kehrs Mill, Wildhorse Creek, Strecker, 109, etc.

 

I live right off of 109, but I don't have any recent photos. I've been waiting for that sunset photo op to take a picture of my plain Jane 2WD PreRunner (only option was floor mats) to make it possibly look cool. A guy down the street has a red TRD puts mine to shame. Mine has gone through a few minor upgrades (in order):

-Westin step bars (daughters and short wife)
-eBay fog lamps
-Tow hitch+harness
-K&N air filter
-Fork mounts for my MTB's, but I use a Thule tray rack now due to thru-axles
-Stereo (Crutchfield and some fabrication for the sub)
-Rear spring TSB
-TRD 16" alloy wheels
-265/70/16 Michelin LTX MS/2 tires
-Headlight TSB
-Bilstein 5100's F and R

I have some people that need a Daily driver, should be a four door, They live in STL they have a 1500 budget can anyone help find something that runs with little work. Thanks

 

Define near?

I know of some spots down near potosi/sullivan mo, bout an hour and a half out and back plus the time you spend. I've easily made a day trip out of it in the summer with time to spare.

Got tired of paying for diesel, really didn't need it anymore as I got to where I didn't tow much and driving up here in the city got old with it. So bought the truck below and love it! Definitively would like to get together and go wheeling with a group sometime if anyone knows any good places around here for trucks that aren't too crazy since I have a stock setup right now.

Keep an eye out for a doublecab, long bed pyrite mica with a color matched FlipPac on it. That be me. And welcome to Scott, it's not the end of the world, but you can almost see it from here.

Yeah, there are a few others but I don't know if they have this thread subscribed to keep up with it or not. If you need a hand with upgrades and can't get to your toolbox let me know as I can probably help if my schedule allows it. Have a shop with a heated floor less than ten minutes from the south - Belleville - gate.
