    Over an old, bulky garmin.

    DF is in Ohio!

    Weather sucks balls, eh?

Lima's about 1 hr 45 mins from Cbus. You'll have to make it down to the city one day. Take 33 East, runs right in.

Figured, that's why most people go to Lima. I attended school there for the automotive program, the high performance program, and custom engine machining. It was very hands on and informative. Try and find a rental place off campus because it is way cheaper. Although my old truck got broken into while down there, that's not uncommon. More than likely you see some people do some really dumb stuff in class or done to their vehicle.

Looks like I'm moving to the Columbus area in June! Just got a job with Honda R&D.

Is anyone familiar with the Marysville area? I've been looking around and it seems like a nice little city, we drove through it when I flew out there for my interview.

Im thinking of finding a place in either Marysville or Dublin but Im kinda on the fence, hence me asking you guys.

Thanks a lot, looking forward to a new life in super exciting Ohio!

I guess you're more into the city life? IDK I've lived in a town of 9000 for the past 5 years, and grew up in an even smaller suburb of Albuquerque so Im used to it.

Dublin is very yuppie. A lot of people, a lot of traffic most of the time but there is a good amount of stuff to do. Dublin is probably the best around for taking care of it's residents, they ALWAYS have the clearest roads around when the snow hits. Their kind of into the "community" thing and have several local events a year.

If you like hustle and bustle of city life, then Dublin would be a solid choice. Also a safe area to live in.

I've never spent a ton of time in Marysville, so I'm not real versed on the city, but always seemed like a lower middle class type of city. Nothing to trashy, nothing to exuberant. Scotts Lawn Company like freaking owns Marysville, like a small fuckin' kingdom out there.

Might check out a small town called Plain City, in between the 2. Much slower pace there. Got some Amish things out there, like a restaurant (Der Duchman) and a couple other places.

That's what I noticed, pretty high class over there in Dublin. I stayed in Dublin for the 3 days I was out there a few weeks ago.

I like being able to have a yard and work on my vehicles in the yard without people getting all butthurt ya know? It's kinda looking like Marysville is a good choice for me.

Plain city looks nice too, but almost as far of a commute as Dublin.

It'd be a commute during rush hour, but check out Pickerington, Its good some dense neighborhoods but also has some other houses that have bigger yards and are spread out from neighbors.

I live in Reynoldsburg, I love being from here. I would really like to tell you Reynoldsburg is awesome because it used to be like Dublin.. But something happened, now there is only one really bad spot in town, but its just bad enough to tell someone to not move here. :/ Beautiful houses in Reynoldsburg and Pickerington.

Check out Pataskala if you want to be "close" to the city, but still be on the cusp of "country"

Sweet more TW people around town! That makes me happy. My brother-in-law also works at the Honda in Marysville (driving his 95? Toyota 4wd pickup) and sometimes gets sent to the Indiana plant. I know me and the fiance were looking to get out of the city for cheaper housing and open spaces, Plain City, Hilliard, Galloway, etc. However we do commute into Columbus for work otherwise I wouldn't want to be much closer. Anyway welcome and good to have some more faces in here.

    Yea.. I know haha

Sidney is right there too, about the same distance as Dublin.

My dad is from Sidney, it's not too far either. Sidney is a VERY nice town. Clean and low crime rate. My grandpa was the chief of police there.

All for it. Just not in the freezing cold yo.

I'd think...that my boss wouldn't mind if a bunch o' trucks...headed back to the little play area kmok and I were at. Plenty of room to park all the trucks, BS and hang out, then there is some trails.

Truck needs the oil changey/tire rotation.
