Has anyone contacted anyone in the Jeep club to ask about vehicle/club requirements and price to run the obstacle course?

For some reason $20 to drive came to mind, I thought I remembered that from last year. $5 is just to spectate.

If anyone is out west and wants to take a trip to Omaha, us Nebraska guys are planning a meet n greet here. Anyone willing to come is welcome to show up! Bring a buddy, even if they don't drive a Taco. The more the merrier.

3/16" is the most common off road skid. Anything thicker and you better be hardcore, otherwise you're just toting around extra weight. I don't even have a dent in my 3/16" skids yet. And I've hit the IFS skid hard enough to tear the rear skid mount off my brand new frame.

I think 1/8" would be fine for the Midwest, so Nate is going to test that.

Get your jokes ready because it did get purdy! I guess I will be like the other 99% of people on this site for awhile. I would like to be able to use it for reliable transportation to enjoy other interests of mine like camping, hiking, kayaking and mountain biking out west for awhile before it gets ratted out. To me there isn't enough wheeling in Iowa to justify a dedicated wheeler especially without a place to store it, a trailer and a tow rig. Call it a light duty expo rig I guess, after all it has BFG mall terrains, a topper on it and a carpeted and padded elevated sleeping platform in it. ;)

Well thanks for the replies guys. But read up and it said that the skids will only work with their bumper for some reason ? Oh well. Still have alot of other things to say I'm going to do as the wish list grows ever bigger xD
