The whole story is when I bought my 03 tacoma xcab it came with a camper, once I decided to remove the camper for additional use I had to remove wires connecting the brake light on top of the camper or also called the fifth light.immediately my cruise control stopped working I looked around for suggestions and came upon following fuses that connect to the brake lights,I found one fuse connecting to the brake lights that was blown, i replaced but then only the light on the arm to set the cruise control that extends off the steering column turns on but the actual cruise control does not engage. so I asked for a professional opinion and he suggested that I needed a new cruise control control panel it sounded expensive so if you guys have any alternatives or any other opinions please share and thank you
