I take that back, it still happens but only at 40 under medium throttle, under and over that speed, under light or heavier throttle it shifts like butter. Guess 40 is the sweet spot were the computer tells it to just "lock it up, no slipping"

So I was wondering if anyone knew of some good tie rods to buy, or just to buy the same stock ones. Any input would be great.

I'm assuming stock ones would be fine depending on what your trying to accomplish. There are people on here that know far more than I that would be willing to help you out on the suspension section. Good luck

Cool. I had a grillcraft on my previous Tacoma and will be going with the same thing on this truck too. They are a little pricey but worth it to me. I had to cut my grill for it....it's not too bad as soon as you start cutting. You just gotta get over the fact your cutting your car and obviously be careful and take your time. Good luck man!

On my 08, I used my dewalt saws all with a metal cutting blade to cut out the middle section.
Metal blade...cuz it's got the finer teeth and makes it easier to cut the thin plastic. If you have a dremel tool that will work too. You shouldn't have to make these cuts too precise since the new grill should cover it.
Once I cut out that middle section the hardest part was done. I took the new grillcraft and centered it and taped it good in place. I then marked my points that I had to drill my pilot holes and drilled away. I secured it with the supplied screws and took the tape off....done...minus the reinstall.
When I took off the entire grill assembly I remember I snapped a clip or 2. I know I used a bolt and nut I had lying around in its place and did not worry about the other one since it was all in good and tight.
