Doesn't look like I will be able to make it. Sorry that i'm just now getting back to the board, had a crazy weekend (in which I missed a friend's wedding, went to Land of Illusions for the first time, and had to take my cat to an emergency vet at 1am).

Anyway, have fun and I'll be there in spirit! definitely will keep checking this board for the next meet!

 

Hope you cat is doing better! Maybe things will change and you will be able to make it. If not, I'm sure there will be another one you can come to.

lol I found brand new american racing steelies on CL for $50!! They are white, and the backspacing is wrong, so a lil work needs to be done!! Should have them done within a month or so...

 

$50 seems like a great deal. Hopefully they work out for you.

there are a ton of reg cabs, mostly base models, around my area. wish i had one with a cap for a work truck.

I'm lovin all the interest in the meet, really hoping all you guys/gals can make it out. Hoping to have new rubber by then, the rugged trails are looking pretty bare.

 

I would like to have my new tires before the meet too but I don't think it is going to happen. I did put new shocks on though.

 

Hopefully its still pretty dry when we go down or I wont be able to doing much, I've put quit a few miles on my tires since our last meet. I'm still really looking forward to it!

 

Oh yeah, for the people who are coming to the meet. I was thinking about bringing some food again (this time I will bring more that I did the last time). Not sure if anyone else is interested in contributing or not. I was thinking about hot dogs/hamburgers. Maybe someone can bring buns/chips/whatever else you guys want to eat. Just let me know.

 

I know I could bring chips/snacks for sure. I am also a huge Mtn. Dew fan, so I could bring a couple cases if everyone else likes it.
Also, I finally brought the truck home! It is dark and raining so no pictures yet.

 

Congrats...I remember when I brought mine home the first night. It was my first new car, and it seemed like I had to pinch myself for the first few days to make sure I wasn't dreaming.

And to chime in on the reg cab thing.. I see more ext cab Tacoma's then anything around Columbus! 1st gen... 2nd gen all I see are reg and double cabs.
