    Hey guys,

As I sit here waiting to take my wife to the Tecumseh trail marathon I got to wondering if there were any other trail runners on the forum-specifically, those that are relatively close by?

We are both training for a 50 mile race in December in Jackson/Washington state forest. It will be our first 50m!

I will be doing a 50k at Owen-Putnam state forest in a few weeks.

Who else runs trail? Who runs beyond the marathon distance?

That kind of mileage sounds pretty extreme. It sounds fun yet miserable! Good luck.

It sort of is but you have to realize....you go pretty darn slow and hike a lot of portions.

I figured there had to be a few out there. TW seems to be a fairly adventurous crowd lol.

    Was I wrong?
