    so i am on my way to Afghanistan when our plane brakes down in Spain. pretty nice little vacation before i get to the stan if you ask me. we've been here for 2 days and might get a 3rd in. so needless to say our air crew is pretty bad ass for picking a kick ass place to break down.

    Our pilots tend to do that. When I was stationed in Hawaii the running joke was that the aircrews flying through there ran out of windshield washer fluid so they could stay an extra day or two.

    Ive always heard of that happening.... Never happened to me thought haha, Enjoy spain ive heard some great things about that place and be safe in Afghanistan.

    I was "stranded" in Moron, Spain for two weeks as (2) F16CJ's and our C17 all broke. It was great loved Spain specifically Sevilla sangria anyone?
