I don't know if this is allowed in this topic but i just wanted to thank all the men and women who have, Is or is going to be enlisted.

Air force, Navy, Marines, Army All of you guys, Seriously from a U.S. Citizen Thank you! My cousin did two tours in Iraq with the Air Force in doing security and my grandpa fought in the Korean war.

And all these people in this country who disgrace our armed forces by protesting at servicemen funerals, No Morals, Respect, Dignity or Loyalty whatsoever.

What your doing for our country, Deserves the upmost Respect from every U.S. Citizen in my opinion, But hey I guess freedom of speech is a two way street. Unfortunately some people Dont have the Common Sense to Speak.

So as ive said, Thank you Sincerely from my Family and I.

If anyone honestly wanted to thank the troops they would protest the wars every day!

"WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives.

A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of the people. Only a small "inside" group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few, at the expense of the very many. Out of war a few people make huge fortunes."

I don't think it can be summed up any better then this, Appreciate the freedoms that are fought for every second of the day and appreciate the ones who Fought/Fight for it and the ones who gave there lives!

For the Troops

Our alarm goes off, you hit the snooze and sleep for
another 10 minutes.

__________________________
You put on your anti war/don't support the troops shirt, and go
meet up with your friends.
-He still fights for your right to wear that shirt.
__________________________
You make sure you're cell phone is in your pocket.
-He clutches the cross hanging on his chain next to his dog tags.

-He wears his heavy gear, not daring to take off his helmet to
wipe his brow.
__________________________

order wrong.
-He does not get to eat today.
__________________________

they'll ever meet.

anything.
-He sees the innocent tortured and killed by their own government
and remembers why he is fighting.

You hear the jokes about the war, and make fun of the men like
him.
-He hears the gun fire and bombs.

__________________________
You crawl into your bed, with down pillows, and try to get
comfortable.
-He crawls under a tank for shade and a 5 minute nap, only to be
woken by gun fire.
__________________________
You sit there and judge him, saying the world is a worse place
because of men like him.
-If only there were more men like him.
__________________________
You gripe at your parents for not buying your favorite snack.
-He's just happy to get some packages of Kool-Aid and a bag of chips.

Thanks to all of you who support us, YOU are why we do what we do.

Thanks to my brothers and sisters in arms at home and downrange, stay safe, stay strong and come home soon.

Thanks most of all to the wives, husbands, fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters and loved ones. Your job is hardest of all and without you behind us we could not go forth and defend America.

Personally I want to thank my son, who at 3 yrs old will probably never read this. Thank you for trying to understand why daddy has to leave and being good for mommy while I'm gone. YOU are the reason I give everything to make sure you are safe and never have to worry.
