    My focus group consisted of about 20 people from each branch all different MOS's from the four branches. Coasties are department of homeland now and sol... I was the only airdale in the group.

My only issue as i said is that 95% is a huge number and i just dont see how its that high given my experiences and size of the combat arms community. And lets not bring "macho" into this. I sure as hell didnt. My issue was a statistical one, not one regarding DA/DT. And from a statistical standpoint this number seems too high to me.

    Kalamakids experience hold more weight to me, but only if its a true random sample. Otherwise its biased toward people w/ more time, lighter training schedule, sympathetic COs, ect

    And yes my experience is not statistically significant but its enough to make me question a 95% statistic.

    I think the "randomness" was "hey LT give me a sailor who won't make an ass of himself to spend two weeks at pearl harbor". Then it was passed to "hey AE2 you got any medical shit the next two weeks?" "nope" " alright your going to gay classes in pearl enjoy the vacation ;)". Pretty sure that's exactly how we were randomly chosen :D
