Hey, with everything picking up with the Iran situation, what do you think is gonna happen?

How do you think its gonna play out?

Isreal is going to hit them with airstrikes like they did against Iraq's nuke plant , then all hell is gonna break loose

Military action is a lose, lose, lose proposition for all involved. Anyone who instigates such a conflict will do so under the belief that they would lose less bad than everyone else, but no one is likely to anticipate a real victory. The only actor with a plausible reason to believe they might lose better than everyone else is Israel, but even their prospects are poor. As a consequence I think the risk of conflict is elevated, but ultimately unlikely to metastasize. What seems more likely is that Israeli intelligence agencies, possibly with the assistance of American intelligence, will continue to do battle with Iranian intelligence in a shadow war as each side tries to build a diplomatic environment that negates the need for Iran to acquire a nuclear weapon, or for Israel to worry if they do.

Iran is the main problem with the middle east. they are the ones that provide a sanctuary for everyone we are fighting in the middle east. Iraq was full of em Afghanistan was full of em. it would be Naive to think that the big ass country that connects the 2 isnt full of em. Not to mention our greatest Ally Israel is doomed if Iran aquires a nuclear weapon. I say let Israel do what they need to do to protect their country and we have their backs if shit goes down.

Let's see Iran supplies weapons to insurgents in Iraq, the Taliban in western Afghanistan, supports Syria's current government under sanctions all while pimpin Hezbollah to do their dirty work against Israel. I think the U.S will try and keep Israel from taking a preemptive strike but I find it hard to convince a country to show restrain considering Israels proximity to Iran and Iran openly supportiving the idea of whiping the Israelis of the face of the earth.

im not going to lie im no foreign affairs expert. but from previous conflicts Israel is our closest ally. militarily speaking of course. Not to mention we share a huge similiar interest in the middle east. naturally we stand together and work together to meet common goals.
