transfer disability pay - help

I am wanting to transfer my disability pay into a new bank account, has anyone done this recently? is there a way to do this with the least amount of contact with the VA people? every time i talk to them i want to smash my face through a wall

im currently browsing the va.gov site and google, but am only getting phone numbers to call. I still need to open a new account to deposit the money into so i dont have account info just yet, but would like to have an idea of what all i need to do this ahead of time so i dont have to wait on hold for an hour to be transferred to someone else

 

Ask your bank, most of the time they can assist you a lot with that kind of thing, even go as far as faxing it and confirming deposit for you.

 

You ever figure this out? I think you can do it on the "ebenefits" webpage.
