Barksdale or FE Warren I know it's a hard choice.

out of those two, probably go with FE Warren but really wouldn't want either one.

Definitely Barksdale (Louisiana). FE Warren is located in Cheyenne Wyoming. I spent two weeks in Cheyenne and I honestly can't tell you one positive thing about the location besides Ft. Collins Colorado being about 45 min south of you. Been in the AF for 21 yrs and FE Warren is the least favorite base I have ever been to. I was stationed in Great Falls, Montana for 3 years and would prefer that over FE Warren. Mission there is ICBM's. Barksdale is located in Shreveport, LA and there is plenty to do especially if you like to fish, gamble, hunt, buy stuff, see hot women, vacation, travel, have any semblance of a life as compared to Cheyeene Wyoming. The ONLY thing going on in Cheyenne happens for two weeks a year--Frontier Days!! It's a two week rodeo--YAY!!!!

Thanks for all the inputs so far. The only bases for me to pick from are FE Warren, Barksdale, Malmstrom, and Minot. I am originally from Northern California (Sacramento area) and would like to have some civilization nearby.

I lived in NOLA (as a civilian) so I have a HARD time calling Louisiana "civilization", but "JustBeGood" has it right. Specially about the women, if you are single, you'll have a BALL!

damn bruh, that's a tough choice. At least you'll find some good off-road spots no matter where you go, good opportunity to get some armor and what nots.
