But they just gave me a $250 VA disability stimulus check. The old bait and switch technique.

Either way the concept is ass backwards & congress's benefits are what should disappear for poor job performance. Why should civil servants or elected officials or people appointed by elected officials that are there to serve the people of this country be provided something that the people they are there to serve have no chance of ever getting? Just sucks major ass!!!

    Agreed,

Tell me how a congressman that makes $174,000 annually owns a 10 million dollar home. They are all crooked bastards.

I say add in Term limits and lower congressional pay.

Lower Congressional pay to $0.00 per year. That's what they deserve IMO.

    +1 on the Term Limits.

All congressmen and senators work for lobbyists. Both stripes. Everything they say is basically what lobbyists want them to say-hence the reason they can afford such elaborate lifestyles.

I say ban lobbyists too. Sorry, I'm in a grumpy mood about politicians right now.

Sarge, I appreciate you trying and signed the petition even if its old. I contact my congressmen all the time and feel many vets are forgotten, obviously, something is wrong, if you missed out on a payment that another member reported getting. Services for vets where I live are limited, they closed all bases/posts within reasonable driving distance. The closest post for me is Drum. Your sacrifice and input is important here. Please keep contributing!
