Last Friday morning, we received a call stating a very serious single vehicle accident had occurred earlier that morning, and it was suspected that A1C Jeremy Scott Melvin, 43d OSS, had been killed. The decision was made to withhold any official release of information until we had confirmation from the State Medical Examiner. Unfortunately, earlier this afternoon, official confirmation was received. Airman Melvin’s family, who lives in Fayetteville, has been notified, and plans for the funeral and a memorial service are underway. We have lost one of our own, and all of Team Pope pays tribute to Airman Melvin’s professionalism and selfless service to his country. Please join me in extending our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and co-workers in the 43d OSS.

Ask visa or my wife. They both constantly remind me how much I've got left to spend.
Sorry to hear about your loss. You have my deepest condolences and thanks for his selfless service of country.
