I want to extend a special Merry Christmas to all the currently serving military people who will stand the watch and keep the guard while I am safe and warm with my family for the holiday. I will never be able to express the gratitude and pride that I have for you. Nor the pride I feel from having been one of you.
God bless you and keep you safe. I pray for your safe return to your families and loved ones.
Thank you for who you are, what you do, and why you do it!

Merry Christmas to the guys and gals watching the gates overseas and the ones guarding the sensitive materials at home.

I remember Christmas '03 in Iraq. The KBR kitchen workers all told us "Happy Christmas" and "Merry Holidays." They put up a Christmas tree in front of one of the scud missile murals. It was quite odd....
