I'll jump in on those with you. Unfortunately no night run for me since I'll have the kiddo's with me this year and they won't be super happy with a late night run.

I'll be in on either Monday or Tuesday depending on the work schedule.

Gahh I really want to do this Fins night run but that means rock lights... Hmm I also really want a snorkel for this trip for two reasons:
1.) to help with all the damn dust, just following one jeep last year my air filter was packed!
2.) mostly to fit in with the cool trucks :D

On average how much water are we talking? I really need to clean up and better weatherproof my headlights and the wiring behind em

:notsure:??? Haven't finished it. I've heard it can go from lots (up to the doors or past) to none at all. We will just have to see. Sooooo excited :burnrubber::yes::goingcrazy:

kanes isn't too deep in the mandatory crossings, but there are route you can take that can get you up to your hood if it's a high water time...

from the sounds of it...that area is jonesin' for water right now, so some of the water trails might be a bit low...

that being said...Dolores Triangle might be doable...usually spring will have too high of water for the river fords, but with the low water, it could be doable

might need to give it a shot with the kokopelli group

I ran Kanes recently on March 15. There was decent water all through the wash. Crossed back and forth 30 times or so. In only one spot I noticed was the water real deep and the leader almost went in. That was a very close call for him. The trail went right and he went left,,dropped off quik. Other than that for the time of year it was good. I imagine it's drying up..here's a shot of the amount of water at the creek at the 2nd and last real climb.

Yeah last year everyone said it was minimal, in 2012? Bob and I ran it. Constant water up to the sliders and some up to headlights /hood. wus and the girls had lunch on our tailgates with our feet in the water. Was one of my favorite moab trail runs ive ever had.

That obstacle confuses the shit out of me everytime. Some rigs walk up it, some have trouble. I think the first gens all got out of wack on that because we are skinnier and didnt hug pass. side enough
